Despite cool weather and swamp-like conditions at Starr Jaycee Park on May 6th, we had a record-setting 1,523 registrants at the 2017 MOM Race! We also had the support of 50 teams, 60 volunteers, 75 businesses and 200 donors. The 5K run/walk raised a record $55,000 for The University of Michigan Depression Center, KnowResolve, and Common Ground bringing our fundraising grand total to $300,000. While nothing can bring our loved ones back, it’s incredible what we can accomplish when we come together to give mental illness and suicide the attention they deserve. That’s Mind Over Matter!

Scott Smith of Warren set a new MOM Race course record with a 5K finisher time of 16:39 (5:22/mile).
