Has your life been touched by mental illness or suicide? Are you looking to connect with others to help erase the stigma, or just participate in a local 5K for a good cause? If so, please join us on Saturday, May 2 in Royal Oak for the 15th Annual MOM Race for Mental Health Awareness and Suicide Prevention. The 5K run/walk starts at 10 AM from Starr Jaycee Park and takes place in the beautiful Vinsetta neighborhoods between 12 Mile and Main St.

The MOM Race is a USATF-certified 5K featuring age group awards, a team challenge competition, fundraising opportunities, raffle prizes, plentiful refreshments, live music and more! Advanced online registration is required. Please register online by no later than April 28 to reserve your spot at the 2020 MOM Race!

Early bird registration ends, rates increase by $5

April 8

Last day to apply for MOM Race sponsorship.  There are four levels available ranging from $250 to $1,000 to meet a variety of budgets and marketing needs. All donations made to Mind Over Matter are tax-exempt under IRS 501(c)(3).

April 16

Basic registration ends, rates increase by $5. Last-chance registrants are not guaranteed their requested T-shirt/size, but we’ll make every effort to ensure no one goes home empty handed.

April 28

Last day to register for the 2020 MOM Race!  Online registration will close at 11:59 PM EST. Sorry, no in-person registration. If you miss the opportunity to participate in the 5K, please consider joining our cheering section!

May 2

15th Annual MOM Race!  The 5K run/walk will start at 10 AM from the south side of Starr Jaycee Park and take participants on a journey through some of Royal Oak’s most beautiful, family-friendly neighborhoods.
