Has your life been touched by mental illness or suicide? Are you looking to connect with your community to help erase the stigma, or just get some exercise for a great cause? If so, please join us for the 15th Annual MOM Race for Mental Health Awareness and Suicide Prevention. The previously planned 5K run/walk scheduled for May 2nd in Royal Oak has been replaced by a virtual event that can be completed any time, any place, any day during the month of May for Mental Health Awareness Month.  Your DIY MOM Race could be run, walk, bike ride, or anything that gets you moving for at least 30 minutes. This is something proactive you CAN do right now. This is your chance to remember a loved one lost to suicide or pay tribute to someone bravely battling mental illness. The Virtual MOM Race is also a great, germ-free way to honor your mom for Mother's Day. Register online by 4/30/20, receive a premium MOM Race t-shirt in the mail, and wear it with pride as we stomp out the stigma surrounding mental illness and suicide. Share photos and videos documenting your journey and personal ties to the cause using #VirtualMOMRace #MOMStrong #TheSilentEpidemic #BreakTheStigma #DontStop
